Gaolers Mews
Gaolers Mews in Gastown is an awesome spot. It's like going back in time. Lots of cobblestone and brick and retro signage. It has a fire escape style stairwell you can shoot on in one part of it and the beautiful famous red door of the Shebeen Whiskey Bar behind the Irish Heather in another part.Directions to Location:
This is the area behind the Gassy Jack statue which is where Alexander and Powell street meet to form Water Street at Carrall. There are a couple entrances... one between the cowboy shop and The Salty Tongue on Carrall Street, and one between the dog store and the architechture firm on Water street.

Gates closed after 5pm
As of Nov 2007, the gates are supposed to be locked at 5pm. We were there at 8pm, and the gates were open, but they did politely ask us to leave (they gave us a few minutes to finish what we were doing before we packed up).
