| UBC | The grounds of UBC, especially on weekends, are a great place for a photoshoot. You get broad coverage, from an urban feel in the parkades and amongst the unique architecture, to a feeling of nature in the pockets of trees on campus (and the super cool location at the museum of anthropology- totem poles, interesting building, grassland, and sunset views). | Gaolers Mews |  Gaolers Mews in Gastown is an awesome spot. It's like going back in time. Lots of cobblestone and brick and retro signage. It has a fire escape style stairwell you can shoot on in one part of it and the beautiful famous red door of the Shebeen Whiskey Bar behind the Irish Heather in another part.Directions to Location: This is the area behind the Gassy Jack statue which is where Alexander and Powell street meet to form Water Street at Carrall. | Beatty Street Wall Graffiti | The graffiti along Beatty street (close to the skytrain) makes for a dramatic backdrop in photos. Best photographed earlier in the morning (10am) before many cars have parked along the metered street. The only thing is I'm not sure if this is a permanent wall or if it's just up during a long construction period.
